Can I get any money to help pay for my course?
If you are studying at a college contact the Student Support Team, who will have details of any funds available through the college. There are usually Access funds available to students for help with course equipment costs, childcare costs etc

Career Development Loans enable you to borrow money to pay for a course leading to qualifications for a career. The loan is repayable in instalments once you are working.
Individuals can sometimes apply to Grant Making Charities & Trusts for help with course fees or travel costs. For more details see the Learning & Skills Council Opportunities Database computer package, which is in Nottinghamshire libraries and nextstep centres.
