The nextstep Nottinghamshire network has two levels of membership; Delivery partners and Referral partners. The majority of member organisations are Referral partners that signpost adults for appropriate information or advice. Our Referral network includes a wide range of organisations from small voluntary groups to libraries.

What is a Delivery partner?

A nextstep delivery partner is funded to provide information and advice to adults aged 20 and over. All nextstep delivery partners work in partnership with other partners (delivery and referral) within the network.

Delivery partners will have achieved the Matrix quality standard and staff competent to deliver advice.

All delivery partners show a commitment to continuously improve their information and advice services.

What is a Referral partner?
A nextstep Referral partner:

* Provides accurate and up-to-date information about Information and Advice (IA) services within the nextstep network.
* Works within the IA Codes of Principles.
* Makes appropriate referrals of Information, Advice and Guidance clients to IA funded providers.

A referral takes place when a client is signposted to an IA delivery partner. Referral partners are not funded by nextstep. Referral partners can access information/research support for their clients through the nextstep central team.
